A project at BioMolecular Imaging starts with a broad evaluation and vetting of external partners, including imaging CROs, academic imaging sites, and expert readers.
Sometimes these partners are within-country and other times a worldwide view is needed. Dr. J. James Frost is knowledgeable and well connected to the commercial operations and to the academic sites. As a university professor, Dr. Frost knows the top academic imaging universities and is able to interface with local investigators to ensure understanding of the project goals and help effectuate an effective conduct of the study according to the established timeline.
Education and training of site personnel from the imaging technologists to radiochemists to MD staff is key for a successful outcome. Once a project commences, BioMolecular Imaging often remains involved with the company monitoring individuals to help judge adherence to quality control procedures, data integrity and transmission, and early evaluations of the results for go/no-go decisions. Reports to the Food and Drug Administration, manuscript preparation, and publication also fit into this on-going oversight of BioMolecular Imaging.
Dr. J. James Frost, with his extensive background in radiology, nuclear medicine, radiochemistry, and analysis of imaging data, is most often able to speak to all aspects of research and clinical imaging trials. If necessary, we also can bring in subspecialist radio chemists, imaging physicists and other experts to round out the consulting team, depending on the local company personnel and expertise.
